That’s why each year we evaluate our fees as compared to other dental offices in our area to ensure that our fees are fair and affordable or on par with other offices. Our dentist and team are highly trained to provide comprehensive dental treatment options that other offices may not. Dr. Ben is highly skilled in treatments such as implants, root canals and extractions that other practitioners may refer out to specialists, also keeping your costs more affordable and wait times shorter. If we feel that we can treat you at our office, we can often save you hundreds of dollars by providing those services at our office. In some cases, we may be able to provide you various treatment options to fit your budget. However, the best way to keep your costs minimal is to seek regular preventative care and not let dental issues linger. Often what could have been a simple filling, could result in a more costly root canal if left untreated. Having a trusted dental office is key to keeping your health costs affordable, which is why we aim to make your dental experience as positive and painless as possible.

Financial Policy

Payment is due in full at the time of your service. If you are unable to pay in full, contact our office prior to treatment to discuss other payment plan options. We always try to work with your budget to achieve your best oral health. Senior citizen discounts are available upon request. We also offer a financing option through CareCredit. We are pleased to offer CareCredit. North America’s leading patient payment program, CareCredit offers 6- and 12- month, deferred interest payment plans. Provided that a minimum payment is made each month and the balance is paid off by the specified date, there is absolutely no interest for this service. Insurance

Another way to save money is with dental insurance plans. Dental insurance is like having a coupon for major dental work. You might not need major dental work, but if you ever do, dental insurance will pay a portion and your monthly premiums may also cover the cost of preventative work such as twice-annual cleanings, yearly exams and x-rays. We welcome patients who have dental insurance to our office.

• We are in-network with several major employer-based and individually purchased PPO dental plans in the Tallahassee area. However, individual insurance plans differ, so the best way to determine if we are in-network with your plan is to contact your insurance company to verify that our dentist/office is in network.
• As a courtesy, with all of the necessary information we need, we will obtain a free insurance verification and benefits breakdown. You can provide this information by filling out our new patient paperwork.
• If we are not an in-network provider, it does not mean that you can’t still be seen in our office. Many dental plans also allow you to see dentists that are not in network with the same co-pays and benefits as an in-network dentist. To verify if your plan has out-of-network benefits, ask your insurance provider if your plan offers out-of-network benefits to see whatever dentist you choose.
• You can always see any dentist you would like, your healthcare is your choice and best not left up to insurance companies to decide! We are happy to file your claim and the necessary documentation for you. However, please be advised that the full office fees will be required up front and your insurance company will send you a check for the difference. Our fees may be different from the contracted fees of your insurance plan, so you are assuming responsibility for the difference. We are happy to provide a quote of our office fees for your treatment plan upon request.
• We do our best to estimate what insurance companies will pay based on the fees and breakdown they provide to us. However, we cannot always determine what your insurance company will actually pay. We are a third-party that works with your insurance company, but what your insurance company actually pays is between you and your insurer. We are happy to assist in any way that we can, but we cannot control the insurance companies.
• We DO NOT accept any HMO or Medicaid insurance plans - check your insurance card if you are unsure what you have. We do however accept many plans that are under Medicare. Check with your plan provider to verify we are in-network.
